  This is really about principles over labels Rather, it is about the place where we hold principles to be primary. It is principles about principles. I tried for years to practice these principles. It has become increasingly difficult due to outside pressures: I used to make it a point to forget what red and blue are as designations for political persuasions and states. I have found it increasingly difficult to be successful at that forgetfulness. I would like to recapture that deficiency. Thankfully, I cannot always keep track. Principles transcend labels. I don't care what the branding is on a good idea. If it is a good idea, it is a good idea -- same with a bad idea. The camp from which it comes is less important than where we can go with it and whether or not it propels truth or truth-seeking.
